What we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us delete it.

This policy explains what Troys Squad does with the information you give us when you visit this website or buy from us. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and we only use your information in the ways set out below.

1. What we collect

  • Order information: name, delivery address, email address, phone number
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details
  • Account information: username and password, if you create an account
  • Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, collected through analytics cookies
  • Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to any third party unless we have your permission, or we are required to do so by law.

4. Marketing, and how to opt out

We only send marketing emails if you have asked us to. You can stop them at any time by:

Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about an order you have placed, such as confirmations and dispatch notices.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device that lets a website remember your visit. We use them for three things:

  • Essential cookies keep your session, cart and login working. The site cannot function without these.
  • Analytics cookies tell us which pages are used, so we can improve the site. Statistical only.
  • Marketing cookies allow us to show relevant ads. These load only after you accept them.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order records: retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes
  • Account details: until you ask us to delete your account
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe
  • Enquiries: up to 12 months after the matter is closed

7. How we keep it safe

This website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Card details never reach our servers — they are handled by our payment provider. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to process and deliver orders, and accounts are password protected.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or loss.

8. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

  • Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop using your information for marketing

9. Children

This website is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
